Wow, how time is flying. I cannot believe that we are already in June. May was definitely a month that really tested me. I learned 3 things about myself and I would like to share that with you.
I Got Out Of My Comfort Zone More
One thing for certain that I have been struggling for a while is getting out of my comfort zone. Last month I overcame some challenges that made me get out of my comfort zone. I’ve always been someone who played it safe. Never stepped out, not even tip toed out of my comfort zone.
Here are a few things where I was out of my comfort area.
- Talk with a stranger, which resulted in making a new friend
- Trying new things such as learning a new skill that is going to make me a better trader in the stock market.
Accepting Myself A Little More Each Day
This right there, I have been struggling for many years now and still till this day I still struggle with accepting myself. But, I have been improving a lot by admitting to all the mistakes I have been making recently. Also I have been working more on challenging myself.
My Relationship With My Partner Is More Important
Why to me my relationship with my partner is more important than anything is because he is the one who helped me with all of these things and more. He helps me to get out of my comfort zone. He accepts me for who I am.
These days it is not easy to find someone and the fact that I found someone who makes me smile, makes me happy and someone who is so supportive with all the choices I have done and will do in the near future.
I’ve been with my fiancé for over 3 years now and our relationship keeps growing stronger and stronger each and every day.
Question for you.
What have you learned in May?
